Our Vision

Our Vision

As we embark on this journey together, our objective is to do that which is pleasing to our Savior. We desire to share the love of Jesus and His salvation to all who hear, to teach the believer how we are called to live and to grow in love through fellowship with one another. May we exemplify Matthew 5:16 in that we let our light shine before others that they may see our good works and glorify our Heavenly Father.

In the name of Jesus Christ go and make disciples in Vass area, Moore County, North Carolina and in all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded us.

This is taken from Matthew 28:20 with the addition of Vass area, Moore County, North Carolina. It is known as the Great Commission that Christ gave his Disciples. As followers of Christ our lives and resources should be focused on this commandment of Christ and as such it reflects where we in New Home Baptist Church should be committing our lives and resources of the church.

To Glorify Jesus Christ by leading individuals and families into living a maturing relationship through their faith in God by sharing Christ in the Community and the World through the ministries of Care, Fellowship, Discipleship, Outreach and Worship.

In all we do we should seek to Glorify Jesus Christ. We do that by following his Great Commission in our Vision Statement. The Great Commission is for individuals and families. They are to be discipled/trained/taught of the saving Grace and Love of Christ in both formal methods and in experiential learning means (the way we live!). We are to do the Great Commission both locally and globally. We are choosing to do this specifically focused on using the Ministries of Care, Fellowship, Discipleship, Outreach and Worship. Any job, function, action, commitment of resources or the focus of our efforts should be within the scope of these five ministries to strive to perform the Vision according to the Great Commission of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
